SIRC recognizes the need to be financially self sustainable. The first
stage of the income generation program is to sell those goods made
at the centre.
Future plans include extending the product range, improving packaging
and training in marketing, by working with other similar groups in
Nepal. Through the SIRC vocational
training program, patients learn new skills. They make bags, candles
and baskets which are sold at the Centre or at local exhibitions,
craft fairs and other outlets. This is an example of what you can
buy today while supporting the centre who receive all the profits.
